Dhansak is an aromatic dish originating from Gujarat in India
The sauce is suitable for use with:
Chicken, Lamb, Prawns, Vegetables

Meah's Dhansak sauce is excellent when used as a starter known
as Dhal soup (Lentil soup).
Add water to the sauce, if necessary, to obtain a lighter
constituent sauce. Garnish with fresh coriander.
This sauce is suitable for vegetarians and is also
for Home Freezing.

RECIPE: |

Finely
chop 1 meduim sized onion and add to a cooking pan with 2 tbsp
of cooking oil.
Cook until golden brown
Add 700g of cubed breast of chicken
(The chicken can be prepared a day in advance prior to use)
Pour contents of this pot (add water if necessary) cook until
tender
Garnish with fresh coriander
Serve with rice or naan bread |
